Congratulations to Simon England, who, alongside his partner Jon from our neighbouring county of Hampshire & IoW, claimed the Men’s 60+ title at the LTA Padel National Championships.
The Championships were held at Rocket Padel, Bristol, 4th to 7th December. Simon and Jon made an impressive start by defeating the No 1 seeds in a thrilling first-round match, 6-3, 6-7(3), 10-8. Their winning form continued throughout the tournament with a convincing victory in the final, 6 – 2, 6 – 1 securing the national title.
A fantastic achievement.
