A fantastic effort from the boys at 9U County Cup.

It was a brilliant day of tennis, with the team battling hard from start to finish and earning an impressive second place finish. They showed great determination and resilience throughout the day and won three incredibly tight doubles matches to edge out wins against Hampshire and Wiltshire.

The boys showed outstanding team spirit throughout the competition and gelled superbly both on and off the court. It was fantastic to see them enjoying themselves, competing with such desire, and making their parents and coaches proud!

A truly great team performance - well done, boys!

Captains' Report

The 9U Girls County Cup was a fantastic event and a great experience for the whole team. The girls played extremely well throughout the competition, showing real determination and improvement in every match.

The level of competition was very high, with many strong and talented players taking part. Every match was tough, but our girls rose to the challenge, competing bravely and never giving up.

Most importantly, the team worked incredibly hard, supported one another brilliantly, and had loads of fun along the way. Their positive attitude and team spirit were wonderful to see, and they should all be very proud of their efforts.

The team atmosphere was incredible throughout the competition with the boys supporting and encouraging each other during the matches and congratulating them after each game whether they won or lost.

The Team finished 3rd after narrowly losing some very close matches to Hampshire and Berkshire. The boys gave their all throughout the day, making the coaches and parents very proud. Well done to all.

The girls started strong with a 6-3 victory over Lancashire on Day 1 followed by a convincing 7-2 win against Suffolk on Day 2. The team went into the last day up against a tough Kent squad in a promotion decider. They fought hard but Kent proved too strong on the day and took the win 5-3. Well done to all the players.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Girls and Boys A Teams – 8U County Cup CHAMPIONS.

An incredible effort from all, with team Boys A taking a nail-biting 6–4 win over Devon in the final and the Girls team going unbeaten, with an exciting shootout win against Devon securing the team the win.

Big shoutout to our Boys B team who showed fantastic team spirit and finished 5th with a strong playoff win.

Huge thanks to all our brilliant players, coaches Rob Ringshaw, Adam Dean and Catherine Lawson and all the supportive parents – fab team.

First match on Saturday was against Bedfordshire. With singles wins for Monty and Ethan and a great doubles win for Jayden and Josh, the match was tied at 3-3. A sterling effort by Jayden and Monty to win the shoot out tie break, secured the win. Crazy golf followed : )

Dorset’s first match on Sunday was against Avon with both teams playing for a place in the play-off finals. A great team effort with some hard fought matches with Avon the eventual winners. The team’s final match was against South Wales playing for 3rd/4th place. Another superb team effort but South Wales proved too strong on the day with Dorset finishing 4th.

A fab weekend was enjoyed by the team. Huge well done to all the players for giving their all and showing fantastic team spirit throughout.

Our 14U Girls team were up against some of the strongest counties in the country — Essex, Yorkshire, Surrey, and Middlesex.

A brilliant weekend of competitive tennis starting with a close battle against Essex with the match tied 2-2 before the doubles – final score 4-2, Essex. Day 2 brought a fantastic win against Yorkshire in an exciting shootout tie-break.

Surrey, the eventual champions, proved too strong in the next match, taking a 6-0 win. On the final day, the girls fought hard against Middlesex in the 5th/6th place play-off, a tough match that was much closer thatn the score, 6-0 MIddlesex suggests with Dorset losing 4 out of 4 tie-breaks.

Fantastic team spirit and camaraderie between all the players the whole weekend. A huge well done to all and special congratulations to Kensi on making her County Cup debut!

The boys faced a tough first match against a strong Surrey side. The team fought hard with many close matches but Surrey took thewin 6-0. Showing incredible determination, the team bounced back with a 4-2 win over Hampshire, followed by another strong performance on Sunday with a 4-2 victory over Wiltshire!

The girls had an awesome start with a convincing 5-1 win against South Wales. Second match of the day was against Berkshire. The team went down 3-0 but the girls dug deep and pulled back to 3-3. A tense shootout followed with Berkshire just edging it 10-8. On Sunday, the girls stormed to a 6-0 win over South Wales!

The boys went into the final day needing a win to secure the title having defeated Cornwall 6-0 and Devon 4-2 on Day 1. With a solid victory against Somerset, Dorset claimed the title.

The girls team made a winning start on Day 1 with a 4-2 win v Norfolk. 2nd match up v Sussex, the team fought hard with some close matches but Sussex came through, 4-2. Day 2, final match v Bucks. A solid 4-2 win for Dorset secured 2nd place.

Our boys team, playing at East Dorset LTCC, showed great determination through challenging weather conditions playing the best of three Fast4 sets. The team battled hard in tight matches against South Wales and narrowly missed out on a win v Essex which, at 3-3, was decided on a shoot-out. The team went into Sunday playing for 5th/6th place v Avon. The boys gave it their all but a tough Avon side took the win

Huge well done to our girls who finished 2nd. Despite tough weather with matches reduced to a one set Fast4 format, they battled past Kent 4-2 and secured a win v Cambridgeshire in a shootout to win their box. In the final vs Berkshire, playing for a place in the National Finals, they fought back from 3-1 down, taking both doubles to tie-breaks before narrowly missing out – an incredible performance!

Awesome team effort by our 12U Girls County Cup team.

With a fantastic 4-2 win over S Wales and a hard-fought victory against Sussex in an exciting shoot-out, the team battled their way to the final.

Facing tough opponents Avon, Dorset finished with an impressive 2nd place with Avon taking the win 4-2.

Special shoutout to Poppy who won all 3 of her singles at No. 1 and to Sienna and Lara for an incredible comeback in the doubles against Sussex. At 4-9 down in the match tie-break, they fought back to take it to a shoot-out tie-break, with Poppy and Sienna securing the win 10-5 and a place in the final.

Massive well done to the whole team - fab tennis, amazing spirit and determination.
