Dorset Tennis & Padel is proud to be raising funds for the charity, Bright Ideas, run by former Davis Cup player Danny Sapsford. Bright Ideas does incredible work providing opportunities for people who wouldn't otherwise get the chance, to experience the physical, social and emotional benefits of this amazing sport.
To support this cause, a Dorset Tennis & Padel team will be taking part in a 24-hour Tennis Marathon at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton on Saturday, 21st February. Our goal is to raise £10,000. If successful, two Pro Tennis Players will visit the county to deliver a disability focused tennis event at one of our venues, creating more opportunities, inspiration, and access to the game for everyone.
Watch the video below of a Bright Ideas event and see the enjoyment John Willis who has no limbs, and other disabled players on court with professionals. It is TRULY inspirational :-
If you would like to make a donation, scan the QR code below, all donations hugely appreciated. We would be very grateful if clubs could share with their members. Every bit of support helps us reach more people who wouldn't otherwise have the chance to play tennis in Dorset.
